~Date Night~

This was a fun date that Layton and I had, we found this amazing sandwich place in Salt Lake and I can't wait to go back! It is called Delicatessen on 9th and I almost cried happy tears when I ate my sandwich.

Then for dessert we went across the street and got some Gelato and it was delish

And this is the I Spy table that we sat at, it was filled with all kinds of weird things and we just played I spy long after our gelato was gone

I spy with my little eye..... a skull....and a lobster

After dinner, we went to the gateway to see Super 8, but there was a chalk art festival thing going on so we walked around for a while before seeing our movie, it was great! This beautiful chalk drawing was right outside the Victoria's Secret store at the mall.

I LOVE HARRY POTTER

This amazing Tangled chalk art was drawn by Laura Brand and Michaela Hamblin, Michaela is our upstairs neighbor and Laura is her cousin. I had no idea that this was their chalk drawing until after I took the picture and we ran into Michaela's dad and little brother and they told us that it was hers!

Tuacahn 2011!

Every year we go to St. George and we stay for a few days to see the plays at Tuacahn and to shop and eat out and have fun. And when I say we I mean only girls are invited. So my mom, Kenya and I went with Lorna Hartvigsen and Emily and a bunch of other ladies, sisters, friends and cousins. This year there were 17 of us! So we rented a few rooms at a hotel that were all next door to eachother, dominated the pool, and stomped around town with money for shopping! It was so much fun and it was better because the plays at Tuacahn were Little Mermaid and Grease! YaY!

This was our first adventure, a scorpion! Except it was dead by the pool.

Here we are eating out at Olive Garden, we had 2 servers for our table because there were so many of us. And my mom totally scared our waiter because she told him to serve the black people first or else she would be really mad and he couldn't decide if it was a joke or not. Poor guy.

Me and Kenya

Here we are in our Grease shirts, they say Pink Ladies on the back :) and my mom didn't get a shirt. All I have to say is... Party Pooper.

For Little Mermaid the next night, some of us decided it was appropriate to purchase seashell bras from all a dollar, we looked awesome! Here is my mom and Lorna sporting the seashell bras :)

This is Kenya's birthday face and her birthday ice cream at Red Robin, her birthday was June 11 and we were in St. George for her birthday so it was really fun!

Viva Las Vegas

Roadtrip to Vegas! Layton and I went on a much needed vacation to Las Vegas with my friend Wendy Lewis and her hubbie Dallas (I was in hairspray with Wendy so Layton and Dallas became good friends because their hot wives were busy being in the play every night). We drove down for memorial day weekend and had so much fun! This was Layton's first time in Las Vegas and the weather was great! We picked the perfect weekend because it snowed in Bountiful while we were sitting by the pool baking in the sunshine :)

Here we all are at the M&M factory - What a delicious place! M&Ms of every color, shape, and size! Even an M&M racing car!
Here we are eating at the Hard Rock Cafe, Layton's drink was a lot yummier than mine was.

Look at the twinners! They accidently bought the same shorts for the Vegas trip and wore them the same day!
 Wendy is beautiful

This was the dinner that I picked for us to have one of the nights we were in Vegas. MAX BRENNER! He is known as "the bald chocolate man" he is from Australia and only has two of his famous restaurants in North America - one in New York and the other...in Vegas! And I have been to both! I went to the one in New York two years ago and I saw this one here and I had to take these guys. We ordered dinner, the french fries are dusted in chili and chocolate poweder and it just gets better from there! We all made sure we left plenty of room for dessert because that is what Max Brenner is known for. His menu is constantly changing and the atmosphere is always different. When he created his restaurant he wanted his guests to have a different dining experience every time they came. So the music has a theme, the lighting changes, and the menus change often.
This is dessert! Waffles with peanut butter chocolate ice cream and chocolate crunchies and fudge for the top, brownies, chocolate rice crispies and deep fried chocolate chunk rolls.

Also it comes with a small grill to roast marshamallows, berries, and bananas and then a melting pot of chocolate to dip everything in!!! IT WAS AMAZING!
This is what our plate looked like after we all attacked the dessert! So worth it!
This is a three-wheeled car in one of the casinos, the grand prize!
Our eating bracelets, all you can eat, whenever you want!

The Rock - Dwayne Johnson
 Evil Kenevil
Simon Cowell

Lady GaGa

 Stevie Wonder

My personal fav....Jack Sparrow

He looked so real it was incredible
I couldn't resist

Rafiki from The Lion King on broadway

Elvis - He lives on and he even sang to me when I touched his hand :) how dreamy
Nicolas Cage

Blue Man group instruments

Criss Angel
I can't remember who this guy is.

President Obama (I didn't vote for you and I never will, but if you need a receptionist....pick me!)
Abraham Lincoln - Layton said Abraham looked kinda like two of his brothers in law (brother in laws) Shane and Treston!
 Men on our money
And I dont know who that guy is, but Layton and Dallas liked him.

There were many more famous wax people but these were some of our favs! I was very dissappointed with the Beyonce wax figure. I wanted to push her over because she looked ugly in person. Why.

We stopped at Vosges chocolate and got the famous bacon chocolate, my fav the gogi bar and a new one that really wasn't that good.
My breakfast at the Sugar Factory the morning we left Vegas - Two hot waffles with a scoop of vanilla ice cream chocolate crunchies and milk chocolate syrup - MMMMMM!!!!
This is what the end of the rainbow looks like

Overall we had a fantastic Vacation! I forgot to take a picture of Dallas jumping off of the Stratosphere for his birthday, but it was awesome! I will have to get pictures from Wendy and do a part 2 to our vacation!
